International studies helps you understand the world beyond borders. Through the study of global issues, cultures, politics, economics and international cooperation, you'll examine the forces shaping societies around the world. You'll develop critical thinking, intercultural communication, research and problem-solving skills while exploring solutions to complex global challenges. Whether you're interested in public policy, international development, diplomacy, global business, advocacy or community leadership, International Studies can help prepare you to contribute to a more equitable and interconnected world.
The first of its kind in Canada, Glendon’s International Studies program offers a degree without borders through its international bachelor of arts option and opportunities to participate in international exchanges and internships. Applied Learning Opportunities
Gain real-world experience, build marketable skills and apply theories learned in the classroom through Experiential Education at Glendon. These hands-on learning experiences include internationally focused internships and placements in the public or private sector in Canada and abroad, and participating in events such as the Annual International Studies Symposium.
